You've poured your heart and soul into creating your book.  Now it deserves a quality index that will be the capstone to your project.  

Just as true with any information service, if your readers can’t find it the information in your book, it doesn’t exist.   Your book needs a quality index created by a professional indexer.  A QUALITY index draws the connecting lines between the many different concepts in your writing.  A QUALITY index provides the reader as many points of entry to your information as possible.  A QUALITY index is written for your writing's intended audience and is structured accordingly.  A QUALITY index is structured thoughtfully so as to make the information useful to your readers and easy to access.

Creating a QUALITY index is not just a clerical task to be completed in a hurry -- it is not a last minute dash just to fill a requirement.  It is so much more than a word search.  It can't be broken up and farmed out to disparate members of a group working on separate parts simultaneously.  I will read your whole book carefully, understand the subject matter, recognize, and highlight connections between topics throughout your text.  I will present information completely and consistently, using terminology that is appropriate both to the subject matter and the readers of your book.
